(AKA Euler's Touring Knight)
Published on the PCW Games Collection from Personal Computer World magazine.
These compilation cassettes were published by Century Communications Ltd.
The PCW book accompanying the PCW Games Collection contained the following description:
For those of you who dislike the fast action games, here is a
computerized version of an old chess problem. The idea is to
visit every square on the board, once only, with a knight.
Although there is an option to allow the computer to demonstrate
the pattern of moves, you should find this problem much harder
than it appears at first sight.
When you run the program you will be presented with the
chessboard and the option of either playing or watching the
computer demonstration. Whichever option is chosen, you must
then specify the starting position for the tour round the board.
When viewing the demonstration, all you have to do is to press
the space bar for each move. When attempting the tour yourself
you must enter the co-ordinates of each successive move. In both
cases the knight is represented by a K and squares are coloured
red if they have already been visited.
